RFO

Seems like the whole MMORPG community is chompin' at the bit for  the release of Codemaster's upcoming  Arch Lord. To those people, we repeat the last words spoken by Sean Connery to Kevin Costner as he lay dying in his apartment as Bugsy Malone in The Untouchables:

"What are you prepared to do about it?"

What are YOU prepared to do in order to get your eager little hands on one of those much-coveted Arch Lord beta keys?

Fortunately, you won't have to do anything as drastic as taking on Al Capone (although an Untouchables MMORPG is probably in the works, somewhere). All Codemasters asks of you is to come up with some decent wallpapers for another game - in this case, RF Online.

Not only will the winners receive Arch Lord beta keys, their wallpapers will be featured on the RFO Website. Additional prizes include T-shirts, tote bags, mouse pads, notebooks, and posters. The game began on 1 August and will be running until 12 midnight NST on 1 September. Entries must be in either .jpg or .gif format in three dimensions: 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, and 1600 x 1200. Entrants are limited to one submission, and may not use copyrighted images, "swearies," derogatory comments, nor rude, vulgar or pornographic images.

That said, get on the stick and get your entry to  to rfonline@codemasters.com with  ‘Wallpaper Competition’ in the subject line. Be sure to include your forum name, cog account name and character name. Full terms and conditions can be found here. Good luck!

Can't get enough of the game? Feast your eyes on this new wallpaper from Guild Wars: Factions. This features a female Assassin with the Jade Quarry in the background.

Guild Wars: Factions is so far the newest expansion of Guild Wars for this year (though we're still waiting for "Nightfall" to be announced officially) where existing characters from the original game can explore the world of Cantha. Guild Wars: Factions has been giving players new adventures through coop quests and PvP battles.
