Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures have announced that Sam Raimi has signed on to direct a movie based on Blizzrd's Warcraft universe. It's Warcraft, so this isn't just limited to that insanely popular MMO we've all encountered at one point or another.

Uwe Boll has a lot of experience in making movie adaptations for video games - he's the guy who directed the movie adaptations of games such as House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark.
