Sony Online Entertainment's EverQuest II booster draft tournament for Legends of Norrath starts today at 3:00 P.M. PST. Once the draft tournaments begin, players of the online TCG can earn limited ratings for the first time.

Sony Online Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing Forsworn, a new expansion for the EverQuest online TCG Legends of Norrath, this December 18. The set contains 235 new game cards, new gameplay and multiplayer options, as well as 22 new loot items that registered players can use with their MMORPG characters.

The folks over at Sony Online Entertainment recently took down the Everquest servers to prepare for the launch of Everquest's14th expansion Secrets of Faydwer.

As you can probably guess there were quite a few changes to the system, which is why we're lucky that Sony also released the patch notes! The changes include a graphical update of the Steamfront Mountains as well as some new hot zones.
