iGames is holding a launch party at select member centers across the U.S. and Canada to celebrate the release of Hellgate: London. Aside from the launch party, there will also be a showcase for the game that will last for two weeks. Fifty iGames centers will be holding a launch party for the game on November 10. The event will last the whole day. The two-week showcase happens November 12 to 25 in 100 additional centers and will allow gamers to play the game for an hour for free. The event, co-sponsored by iZ3D, will be covered by MMOABC.com. Hellgate: London has already gone gold and will be released on October 31. |

Well, all good Betas must come to an end. In between the pre-orders and prepping for early access, and whatever other countdown to V-day activities everyone's got planned for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, pen this one into the schedule to celebrate SOE's and Sigil Games' baby. iGames will be hosting pre-release events for Vanguard in both the North America and Europe, where select gamers can have a sneak peek into the world of Telon at select iGames centers. Here are the deets from their PR. The first event, the pre-release premiere, is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007, four days before the anticipated official release of the game, at participating member game centers. Participants can obtain an official pre-release trial account on the game's launch servers and play for free for one hour (or, for gamers who have pre-ordered the game, for two hours) at a participating member game center. The pre-release premiere event will be followed by an expanded showcase taking place from January 29-February 11, 2007, allowing Vanguard enthusiasts to get a 10-day trial of the game and play for free for one hour during this two-week showcase period. Party on - and we don't mean forming a party in-game. The premiere will take place in 50 select iGames member centers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Ireland, Spain, and the UK. The showcase will take place in an additional 50. |

If you think launch parties are for consoles only, think again. Though EverQuest II: EoF was already released last week, it is yet to be launched with a bang so to speak. It is in this light that SOE teamed up with iGames to host events deserving of EQ II's stature. The events would be all held simultaneously on November 25 in 50 select iGames member centers across North America, including Canada and Mexico. Food and drinks will be served for all participants while they enjoy free game time. This is not to mention the chance to win free copies of the game as well as a free promo card to create a character and play with no credit card required. Furthermore, in-game item "The Greatstaff of the Sun Serpent" can be tried in these events together with the game's development team themselves. The winged, silent creature possesses ruby-inset eyes that make your enemies come at striking distance against their will. Existing subscribers will just have to provide their character's name and server to participate. If that doesn't sound a party enough, EQ II t-shirts will be given to all participants until supplies last. Interested parties can click on the read link below to know where's the nearest participating center from them. |
