Fury screens - Image 1Fury screens - Image 2

Given how scarce game goodies and details for Auran's Fury have been, some you might be feeling like your fiery desire for this game has been put out. Well sure, you've seen the trailer and screens. But for hard-core MMO fanatics like most of us here in QJ, surely we could use even more eye-candy, yes?

As you know, Fury places the focus on pure PvP, and the game is built on the premise that Fury is the essence of the universe, which is separated into the elements of Fire, Water, Air, and Nature. Fury has a bit of a philosophical slant to it as players will be required to understand the essence of Fury and use this knowledge in combat to prevent the downfall of the kingdom called Sanctuary. Players will then take on the role of the Chosen, who has been faced with the task of bringing the knowledge of Fury to the rest of humanity.

Other features of the game include a unique class system (avatars can be developed via Incarnations)and a combat system that fuses FPS and RPG elements, among many others. It's also interesting to note that in-game avatars will be able to gain more power by completing trials and thus recovering ancient memories and knowledge. With Gamecock Media Group handling the publishing tasks, Fury is set to be unleashed your way Q4 2007 for U.S. and December 31st this year for European regions.

Fury - Image 1Auran Games' MMO title Fury has been under development for some time now and it's about time it gets at least a tentative release date. But before it does, we all know it has to have a publisher first, right? The developer already fixed that by asking for the help of newly-formed publisher Gamecock Media Group. Fury is scheduled for release in Q4 2007.

Anyway, Gamecock President and Head of Development Harry Miller is very happy to have the game in the company's roster of titles. He explained,

We were very impressed with the fresh new approach Auran has taken with this genre. Fury is founded upon a unique combat system that emphasizes fast pacing, tactical decision making and strong teamwork, along with a deep and flexible character advancement system. We look forward to bringing this title to market later this year.

As first salvo, Gamecock released this short trailer for Fury so that fans will know what to expect from the game. Well, just take a look and tell us what you think about it. Have fun!

Fear the Gamecock - Image 1As pervy as this may sound to some, the truth is, we're really not being silly here. We're going to try to do our best to type this down despite some of us here being worried that we may get complaints related to political correctness.

Wideload Games, has recently announced that they picked Gamecock Media Group to publish their next title Hail to the Chimp, which is a self-proclaimed impossible-to-classify party game based on politics in the animal kingdom. The game is set to be released in spring 2008 for next gen consoles.
