If the Guild Wars Yuletide promo has enticed you to purchase some skill unlock packs, but you're not exactly sure how they work, then fear not: ArenaNet has released a skill unlock pack FAQ to help clear up any uncertainties you may have regarding your new item.

According to ArenaNet, you can use the skills unlocked by the pack in PvP as either a PvP-only or PvE character, provided that you meet certain conditions. Check out the ArenaNet's answers after the jump!

For those of you who haven't visited the MMORPG Archlord for the past couple of days, be informed that Codemasters had already applied the Christmas patch for the game. Archlord, for the uninitiated, will remain live during the holiday season.

If you run into problems because of this patch, you need not worry as Codemasters had already increased its internal support for the game in a collaboration with Canada-based company Alchemic Dream. The full details after the jump!

IGG has launched a new event for Voyage Century Online called the VC Christmas Card Contest. Needless to say, the competition's objective is to come up with the best card related to the MMORPG.

In a special holiday promo, Turbine has announced that until January 31 they will be offering a three month subscription to The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar for only US$ 29.97 for the whole period. It looks like Auran Games is well into the Christmas spirit this early as it offers players the chance to get a hold of its MMOPvP game Fury. Reports from the company have it that the game will be available at the lower price point of AU$ 49.95 (around US$ 44) through its online shopping website.

Now this is definitely a sweet piece of news that makes us all go, "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!" Bowzerblack from the Livejournal World of Warcraft community linked to this sweet piece of action figure awesomeness: an Illidan Stormrage figurine, complete with massive wings and great blades.

The description for the figurine makes it even markedly more impressive:
