As was announced last month, Auran has released a new patch for their PvP-themed MMORPG, Fury, and patch notes to go along with it. Furthermore, Auran is offering a 10-day free trial to give curious players a glimpse into the world of Fury and see what the excitement is all about (and hopefully be enticed into playing Fury well past the trial period.) Auran, developer of Fury, today posted a progress report on day one of the official launch of their PvP-based MMORPG. Auran CEO Tony Hilliam (aka Bossman) reported that the Auran development team kicked off the day with a celebration at 5 a.m., after spending a sleepless night making sure that Fury would be ready for launch. Hilliam went on to say that Fury's main appeal lies in its focus on providing highly-competitive, even and (most importantly) fun matches for a broad cross section of the gaming populace. This is partly due to Fury's skill-based ranking systems, which ensure that at least 10% of the total Fury population is on the same skill level as the player. As the player population grows, so do the number of competitors at the player's skill level. Finally, Hilliam mentioned that the Auran team is working on a full information system designed to let everyone in on either what they have planned for MMORPG Fury, as well as what they're currently working on. He then ended the report with a word of thanks to the players who have stuck with them since the beta testing days. Auran is truly proud of the work they've done with Fury, and they're very optimistic about the MMORPG's future. With that kind of attitude, they may very well be on their way to achieving their ambition of having the top PvP video game in the world. |

If you haven't heard of Fury, Gamecock Media Group and Auran's upcoming RPG that seeks to deliver the most intense Player versus Player matches in the history of online gaming, then this video should make you sit up and pay attention. No monsters or grinding to be found here - only you, your opponent, and the blood-strewn path to victory (preferably not your blood). Check out the video and see just what Fury's all about.
This video clip is certainly not for the faint of heart, as it shows a rather scantily-clad spear-wielding female facing off against a heavily-armored foe. The battle is heated, ferocious, and fast-paced, and we see both combatants using both their weapons and the terrain to their advantage. The fight ends with an unlikely victor, with a rather sneaky finishing blow - but all's fair in love and pretty glowing jewelry, right? Enjoy Fury's video! |

Six new screenshots from Auran Games' upcoming MMORPG title Fury
have come our way via MMORPG.com. These screenshots show of more of the
game's beautiful graphics, provided by the Unreal Engine 3. Check 'em
out below.
Australian video game developer Auran has touted Fury as "the best PvP experience ever". One of the cool things that the game brings to the PvP arena is its unique spell and ability activation feature. The words "cooldown time" aren't found in the Fury vocabulary, and spell and abilities within the game activate instantly. Do we hear somebody saying "spell spam"? Fury is currently in closed beta and is slated for an early October release. Check out more screenshots behind the Full Article link! |

The game is currently slated to hit in October.Fury, an Unreal Engine 3-powered free-to-play MMORPG, promises to give players "the ultimate player vs player combat experience unlike any other action shooter or MMORPG in the market." This PvP-centric game also has the distinction of having most of its spells and abilities activate instantly. Cooldown is also nonexistent. "Fury has been designed from the ground up to be the best PvP experience ever," said Auran CEO Tony Hilliam. "Players are rewarded for their skill in battle, not time played and with our unique Incarnation System, players are not shackled by traditional RPG class restrictions. We're confident Fury is set to revolutionize online competitive gaming." Check out the new Fury screenshots behind the Full Article link! |

Fury is a competitive MMORPG developed by Auran. It's a player vs. player-oriented online world which focuses on roughing up other human avatars rather than grinding to level up and killing in-game monsters. The developers will be present in this year's E3 and they've unleashed this trailer to herald their presence. Check it out:
As you can see n the clip, the game will feature a wide array of choices when it comes to creating a player and pitting together skills which will help you win. Customization is key because levels aren't the basis of who kicks butt in this game. Builds and dexterity are the telling factors if you want to come out on top. Three play modes have already been revealed. There's the free-for-all Bloodbath, the team massacre Elimination, and Vortex which is essentially Capture the Flag with a twist. It's exciting to see that we'll be getting the chance to be in this fantasy brutality game soon and we're praying that the beta comes out soon. |
