European gamers who, after joining the Fury Challenge, couldn't get enough
of this PvP-centric game will be pleased to find out that Fury will be launched in Europe on October 26. To prepare for the occasion, Auran Games are working on a small patch for the MMORPG which will go live later in the week. For those who haven't heard of Fury, this MMORPG sports a unique combat system that allows players to use almost all of their abilities instantly. In addition to this, most spells don't need to "channel" allowing magic users to run around and dodge incoming attacks while casting. Playing the game online is free though more hardcore gamers who want to be able to connect to the servers without having to wait may opt to avail of the Immortal subscription plan. So far Fury already has a pretty solid community supporting the game, so players won't have to search for opponents to play against. If this MMORPG becomes even more popular, we might be seeing Auran Games working on a sequel. |

There's a new trailer for Auran Games' Fury out now over at GameTrailers, and while the video subtitles itself as school of death, we prefer to think of it as the most epic bloodless bloodbath ever conceived by man. Why? Because the fight features an every-gamer-for-himself mentality that really epitomizes MMORPG PVP goodness.
The video starts off by introducing the Invoker and Destroyer character classes and sets the stage for the battle, which is appropriately called Bloodbath. In Bloodbath, you're essentially playing a deathmatch, where players score points by killing other players. In some added twists to the usual deathmatch setting, points leaders can be killed for a higher point score than regular players, so you can probably expect to see a the points leaders changing over time. The game also introduces Elite abilities, such as the Meteor spell and the Kingslayer deathblow. The Kingslayer deathblow is especially terrific to watch, mostly because the best way to really kill a king is to ensure he has no heirs; you can probably guess where the characters will be kicking other players then. In any case, fans of the newly-released MMORPG will find themselves enjoying the new video immensely. For everyone else, there's something worth watching about the Kingslayer deathblow, and it's something we can definitely say that you should spare the three minutes it takes to watch this Fury video. Enjoy! |

Auran Games and Gamecock Media Group have announced that Fury has already been shipped to various North American Retailers. MMORPG fans will probably find this game quite refreshing since it focuses more on Player versus Player combat than the usual Player versus Environment formats most titles follow.Perhaps the biggest come-on of the game is that it gives players the option to either play online for free or to avail of the Immortal subscription plan at US$ 9.95. Unlike some of the other games which offer this option, the developers have announced that all abilities, weapons, armor, and free content updates will be available no matter which subscription players choose. The Fury community has shown a lot of support for this upcoming game. We'll have to see if the game catches the interest of the rest of the gaming community when it comes out later in the month. |

In a fitting move to commemorate the 21st birthday of the Australian Made program, Auran Games just announced that their upcoming online game title, Fury, will be the first video game to carry the "Australian Made, Australian Grown" logo.To refresh your brains about Auran Game's PVP-heavy title, Fury is set in the world of Altaia, where the Chosen are trained in combat to fight other Chosen from rival nations. One of the unique features of the game is that there's no grinding, not even enemy AI to be found within the game. Auran's CEO Tony Hilliam is particularly proud of his company's achievement. "I'm very happy to see that Auran will be the first to use the Australian Made logo. Aussie gamers will now be able to support world class games that were developed right on their doorstep," he said. |

Six new screenshots from Auran Games' upcoming MMORPG title Fury
have come our way via MMORPG.com. These screenshots show of more of the
game's beautiful graphics, provided by the Unreal Engine 3. Check 'em
out below.
Australian video game developer Auran has touted Fury as "the best PvP experience ever". One of the cool things that the game brings to the PvP arena is its unique spell and ability activation feature. The words "cooldown time" aren't found in the Fury vocabulary, and spell and abilities within the game activate instantly. Do we hear somebody saying "spell spam"? Fury is currently in closed beta and is slated for an early October release. Check out more screenshots behind the Full Article link! |
