Halo 3 by Bungie Studios - Image 1Aside from the rumored Animal Crossing Wii MMO, the latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) hinted that there's a possibility Bungie Studios is working on a Halo MMO for the Xbox 360. According to the gaming magazine's Rumor Mill section:

Microsoft may start a war--word is they're making a massively multiplayer online first-person shooter for 360. Hmm, wonder what Bungie is up to?

While not explicitly stated, it's entirely possible that this rumored Bungie MMO is actually Peter Jackson's secret Halo project, the details of which - including genre -  have not yet been revealed. Also, it should be noted that Shane Kim, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios, said earlier this month that both Bungie and Microsoft are investing in a new "interactive" series set in Halo.

As always, this is just a rumor so don't get your hopes up too much. Do check this space often for more updates!

Radagast the Brown - Image 1You've got Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White. Ever wondered what the other wizards looked like? In LOTRO: Shadows of Angmar, you better expect to bump into some of the characters we've read about in J.R.R. Tolkien's books or seen in Peter Jackson's movies. However, for someone as elusive as Radagast the Brown, better not be surprised if he suddenly pops up in front of you as you travel around the wilderness.

This wizard might seem like a simple old man, but he's powerful indeed (if you consider "talking to animals" powerful, then yeah!). He's among the ranks of Gandalf and Saruman. Radagast is only mentioned in passing in the books and his role in the War of the Ring is ever-so mysterious. So what's he doing around Eriador, where he's supposedly been seen quite a lot, recently?

Radagast the Brown keeps his matters to himself, but that doesn't mean he's one of the bad guys. His intentions (whatever they are) are always for the good and his actions are always for the betterment of the good people of Middle-earth. Or at least, the beasts and creatures of the good people of Middle-earth, that is.

In any case, if you do bump into him, don't be alarmed. He's still wise and can give you much information about the wilderness and its creatures.

Gandalf - Image 1 Gandalf - Image 2

Whether you're a Tolkien geek or someone who unenthusiastically watched the Peter Jackson-directed movie, you may have an idea who Gandalf is aside from the fact that Sir Ian McKellen portrayed him in the Lord of the Rings movies. Well, for the uninitiated, Gandalf is also known as the Grey Wizard and his Sindarin name is Mithrandir- which means Grey Pilgrim.  He is proof that we should never judge a book by its cover as he may seem frail and really weak, but he is indeed one of the most powerful allies of the good guys of Middle-Earth.

A powerful wizard, he is also a Glamdring-wielder which is a magical Elven-sword built in the First Age and is feared by the evil creatures. He is well-loved by Hobbits and Elves, but there are others who fear him because he is a sign of difficult times ahead. Truly, with great powers come great responsibilities, and since Gandalf has it, he is often at the eye of world-altering events.

In The Lord of the Rings Online, it is best for you to seek his advice - that is when you see him. He'll be rarely seen but your paths may cross in the lands between Bree and Rivendell.
