The E3 games and publishers list revealed - Image 1A lot of players were really hurt when they announced that the E3 was going to be closed to the public. For those who are still harboring a grudge, feel free to skip over this article. For those who are interested though, IGN was recently able to get a hold of a listing of games that will be featured in the said event.

Lycos50No. This does not involve pRon. Lycos just wrapped up their annual list of the top 50 internet topics on their search engine, and they've posted the results over at 50.lycos.com as of last week, November 18.

Now, for the guys who don't wanna have to open up another browser or tab to lurk over and see if their favorite topics made its (No, not pRon), we've compiled two sets of the topics we know you guys will want to look over: Toys and videogames (For the last time, NO pRon)

For the Toys list, Sony fans will be happy to know that aside from being topped out in the list by Pokemon and the ever-popular iPod, the PS3 sits amongst the tops ten of this list, with nary the Wii or Xbox 360 in sight. The videogames list also reveals that MMORPG's are a topic favorite, with games like EverQuest, Runescape and WoW gracing the list, along with anime-themed titles like Kingdom Hearts 2, Naruto, and Gundam (They didn't specify if it's the UC or alternate universes). Of course, Halo 2's in the list.

Feel free to visit the Lycos 50 site for complete details on the rest of the top 50 searches.

Game addictWe've just walked away from Faux News' Bill O'Reilly as he made his most recent rantings on iPods (he flamed iPods via  podcast - the man's a genius...not!), PS3s, and videogaming.

Yeah, you gotta admit that old sourpuss left everybody feeling equally sour. We resent what O'Reilly did, stereotyping all addicted game nerds into one group.

FYI, there's more than ONE twisted gaming stereotype, Mr. O'Rly, and courtesy of Lore Sjoberg over at Wired, we're laying down some of the apparent misfits we're sure you guys have spotted (or identify with) when you go online.

Please don't take this seriously.

The Power Craver:
These are the guys who play just for the pure powertrip factor - and consider future downgrades (ie "Nerfing") to characters they're using as a personal attack, hence something to bellyache about. Think how FMA's Edward Elric looks at Col. Mustang:  "The guys with the God Complex."
Punishment: Forced to admit that no matter how powerful they are in-game, they're still some cheap-ass cashier at a convenience store in real life.

More on these stereotypes after this jump!
