Perhaps it's just a case of preference, but if you're one of those players who don't spend their precious time trying to earn some silver, then perhaps the 5,000 gold price tag for training an elite mount probably isn't worth the ride. But for many budding entrepreneurs, it's a deal too good to miss! Epic and Artisan mounts do require hefty investments and not only in training the pet, but also for the player to be able to ride the mount. But since all of the elite mounts require players to be at the Level 70 cap, grabbing one should be an easy buy. After all, there's nothing much else to do at 70 than to drop by at the Arena, participate in some battleground combat, or join up with a good guild and raid yourself to boredom. Okay, so maybe elite mounts aren't much useful anymore when you don't need to skirt around places in speeds that could shame that Level 60 epic mount. Perhaps Blizzard has something else in mind for the mounts, but apparently, it's just a good-and-bad kinda thing, depending on your taste. After all, not everyone wants to look cool, all decked out with purple slashers and chassis. But for those who think purple "bling-age" matters, a sweet Netherdrake, a gallant Gryphon or the near impossible-to-grab Black Qiraji Battle Tank (we know, it's just legendary but it sooooo rocks!) is just the thing you might want to bring home to your mommy. Because anything green or blue just won't cut it, plus the fact that you can outrun practically just about anyone is just the natural trade-off for being cool. With only limited Artisan and Expert mounts and the "no fly zone" sanctioned over the skies of Azeroth, everyone would be looking pretty much alike. Unless Blizzard can provide their own version of "Pimp My Ride," these cool mounts might eventually just end up the usual norm. Hear that, Blizzard? Yep, it's time to cough up some new mounts. |

Lookie Lookie, we got new gameplay video for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade! The video runs for 4:18 minutes and it features some interesting elements in the "Outland". Outland, or Draenor as it was called before, is one of the fictional zones in the Warcraft universe where Orcs, Ogres and Draenei calls "home". It has several locales, namely Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Nagrand, Terokkar Forest, Shadowmoon Valley, Blade's Edge Mountains and Netherstorm. One of the more interesting elements in the World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade are the mounts. Flying mounts are one of the much anticipated form of transportation since it allows players to travel either by ground or by air, taking you places in Outland at epic mount speed. Featured here in the video is the Gryphon Alliance, but the most sought-after are the rare flying mounts like the Nether Drake. Well, to tell you guys, you can get an offspring of the Nether Drake, the Netherwhelp, in WoW: The Burning Crusade's Collector's Edition. Check out the video clip of the Outland adventure: Download: [WoW:The Burning Crusade Outland adventure] |

When community managers last provided some information on World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade, they mentioned the possibility of 300% speed flying mounts. Which today, courtesy of BCspy is going to become a reality. Get ready for a visual headtrip as we give you the Standard and the much anticipated Flying mounts. One thing to point out is the very unusual Talbuk. It being listed as neutral mounts makes it very intriguing indeed. Unfortunately, there aren't any more known information on how you can score these great mounts. We'll just have to wait and see. Standard Mounts

Often it has been said that in life, it doesn't matter when you achieve your destiny, what's important are the things you learn while treading your path. That is remembered. In World of Warcraft, the same applies specifically to the city of Orgrimmar.Outside the gates, there are Goblin zeppelins waiting to provide transport. This definitely would be much faster, cheaper and easier compared to buying a bat ride from the Undercity. Aside from staying in front of the computer and waiting for the zeppelin to arrive and remain on my keyboards while in transit lest we want to miss our exit, it is much easier. The gryphon ride takes much, much longer. However though, the chance to go away from the keyboards is hard to pass up. Not to mention the exhilarating view of the world from above. Actually, both means of transport have pros and cons. We really can't decide which one is better. What do you think? |
