Microsoft Europe's David Gosen has questioned the gaming industry's seasonal approach to game releases in a recent interview with MCV. According to Gosen, the focus on Q4 and Christmas releases has put the sustainability of new IP into question, and that a second or third release window will be good news for the industry. Great news for my wallet as well, since I won't have to buy all the major releases I want in one big go. More after the jump.

When you're running late and you're trying to beat a deadline, it's nice to be given some leeway, isn't it? IGG apparently thinks so, as the Angels Online team has decided to cut players some slack by extending the deadline of the Christmas event.

According to IGG, it was the players themselves who ask for the extension in order for them to collect more items. More on this after the jump!

Not to be outdone by other MMORPG holiday events, IGG is currently holding a Christmas promo of its own dubbed the Zu Online Christmas Surprise event.

The interesting thing to note is that the event consists of three mini-events in one that will allow users to stock up on in-game goodies.
