IGG has launched a new event for Voyage Century Online called the VC Christmas Card Contest. Needless to say, the competition's objective is to come up with the best card related to the MMORPG.

IGG has just announced a new in-game event that should keep the pirates and merchants of MMORPG Voyage Century Online busy and on their toes during the Thanksgiving season.

The game's GM is looking for a special turkey that he wants to roast for the Thanksgiving Day feast. But before you go hunting for that turkey, you need to obtain necessary items first. The rest of the details and the rewards after the jump!

IGG will be hosting an interesting new Thanksgiving event over at the official Voyage Century Online forums from November 6 to November 21. Called "Remember the Happy Moments", this lets players post screenshots containing their hopes and wishes.

The process is simple. Just visit the forums during the said times and look for the requisite thread. Then, post a screenshot that embodies your hopes and dreams in the forums. Head to the full article for more information!

IGG has announced another event for Voyage Century Online, but instead of being in-game, this new event will be held in the game's official forums. The event's called the Best Equipment Display. It's essentially a forums-only Voyage Century Online fashion show where players can show off their best gear.

The ongoing event will last until November 31st. Players who have amassed a few advanced weapons or equipment can post screenshots of their character decked out in full battle gear on the forums. There will be three winners: one each for best weapon, best clothes and best hat. These three winners will each receive a 2006 League Championship Ring.

Players also have a shot at two other pieces of equipment: a Refined Steel and a Pure Steel Plate. These rewards will be given to two lucky players chosen from each of the three contest categories. All the rewards will be given out on December 5.

Ahoy there! Those of you who are into IGG's high seas exploration MMORPG, Voyage Century Online, will be pleased to know that your old equipment don't have to go to waste. The VCO group will help you unload your stockpiled booty at 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on September 25 in-game.

Game Masters will appear in Athens at the designated time and players can basically exchange any old equipment that they have lying around for new ones. GMs will willingly accept equipment from items upgraded through either the guild system or the in-game mall and, depending on the quality of the items traded in, they will exchange these items for new equipment.

Specifications range from non-Dragon equipment with a minimum attribute bonus of 45, while the highest rating being from White Dragon to Black Dragon equipment with minimum attribute bonus of 70 can be traded in during these times. While IGG hasn't exactly specified what the "new equipment" entails, players can hope it's of a better quality make than the items they've traded in. Posters on the forums have asked IGG for further specifics on the event, but so far no word has been given out.
