We just got wind of IGG's latest announcement for their MMORPG, Tales of Pirates: the coming of new expansions. Screenshots were released to accompany the announcement. The new expansions will let you experience a rebirth system for your character, participate in battles between the navy and the pirates, and get engagedin a marriage ceremony.

The servers for IGG's Tales of Pirates were shut down for a couple of hours for the regular maintenance. While waiting for the game to be fixed, the community managers held a small contest on the forums called The Smartest Pirate.

The Christmas celebration in the MMORPG Tales of Pirates is almost over but players still has a lot to look forward to in terms of new content. IGG has just released a new patch for the game that makes it all the more exciting.

Some would say that gratitude is a lost art. Apparently that isn't the case with Internet Gaming Gate (IGG), as the publisher recently took the time to say thank you to players of their Tales of Pirates MMORPG for all the support that IGG has received during the past eight months by offering up to three times the normal experience rates in Tales of Pirates, among other things.

Dragons of bone and ice? Bring them on! IGG has announced the arrival of new monsters into the world of Tales of Pirates, and they've brought along some descriptions and pictures of these advanced monsters to help adventurers along in either slaying them or running away from them.

Perhaps the scariest new addition to the roster of monsters in IGG's MMORPG Tales of Pirates has to be the Ice Dragon. The Ice Dragon name is a misnomer though, because instead of flesh and blood, this cursed ice-breathing dragon is made of bone and held together by magic.

Adventurers also have to be weary of the creature known as the Soul of the Goddess. Unlike most goddesses, which are benevolent and peaceful, the Soul of the Goddess is half-angel and half-demon, and prone to attacking people out of the blue.

There are also additional monsters that adventurers have to worry about, such as the Cursed Corpse, Wandering Mermaid, and the Horrible Yeti. As they all pose a threat to the safety of the many denizens of Tales of Pirates MMORPG, it's a good idea for you to find and kill these abominations when you meet them... if you can, that is. IGG has announced the addition of the Black Market to their MMORPG Tales of Pirates. The Black Market gives players a chance to to obtain rare items at extremely favorable prices as long as they have a good eye for appraising ordinary-looking items.

So, how does the Black Market system work? There are two options open to players. The first option involves finding an NPC at the frozen Icicle Castle and exchanging for rare items by gathering the items needed by the NPC. The items you can get from the NPC as well as the required items refresh every once in a while.

The second option involves quite a bit of luck and money. Players can buy items off of the NPC and "brush" them to know exactly what they are. What you get depends totally on chance, so you better bring some cash with you.
