Okay, here's a challenge: name one person you know (personally or whatever) who doesn't like, no, HATES free stuff. Can you think of anyone? No? Yeah, didn't think so. See, no matter how you turn it inside out, upside down, dude, it's still free. So what happens when you make a free RPG? You got one heckuva happy gaming community. At this point you're probably going "What the hell is this Jex H. talking about?!" So okay, to bring you up to speed, this post is about a free MMORPG entitled Regnum Online, and the coolest thing about it is that you can play it for free. Courtesy of NGD Studios, Regnum Online has been in development for around three years now, and the Argentina-based company has just released the final version and is now playable online (again, for free). It was initially developed only for the Spanish-speaking market but because they've been getting great feedback, they decided to offer the game to other regions as well. We actually haven't tried out this new game yet because we decided to prioritize informing you guys first (see, we're that nice), BUT what we can do is to show you some screenshots from Regnum Online so you can at least get a feel of what the characters and environments look like. If you do decide to check it out, feel free to tell us how it works out for you, alright? Oh, and muchos gracias to our fellas at NGD Studios for giving us a free great-looking game. Here, have a quick-see: |
