Aside from providing events for would-be residents of Myth War Online, IGG is also devising ways to keep those who already signed up happy and satisfied. As a matter of fact, an item discount event has just gone live.

Those who usually buy in bulk and whose birthdays are coming soon are the ones that will benefit the most from this event. Read more after the jump!

IGG sure knows how to reward its user base. The company has just announced that it added a couple of more gifts for players who will excel in the Promote and Obtain Credits in-game contest for MMORPG Myth War Online.

The said activity encourages players to refer IGG games to their friends and have them try the free MMORPG out. Those who are able to invite the most number of new comers will be declared winners. More on this after the jump!

Not one to be left out of the Christmas season, Internet Gaming Gate (IGG) is hosting its own Christmas-themed events for Myth War Online players in the form of a twenty-seven day Christmas carnival marathon loaded with a variety of Yuletide events.

In case some of you are not aware, IGG has a feature called the Promoters System that encourages players to, well, promote the different games of the company in exchange for certain credits and royalties.

IGG figured that there are some players who want to apply as one of their promoters but remain hesitant due to lack of information about the offer. This is especially true for MMORPG Myth War Online and the Credits for Items clause in the Promoters System.

IGG has announced a new in-game activity for Myth War Online entitled Billiken VS Mascot. This event actually started on December 1 (12:00 a.m. EST) and will end on December 31 (11:59 p.m. EST).

For those who want to join in this activity, take note that both the Billiken and the Mascot can both obtain one Saint (Ocean Loong). It is also worth mentioning that several changes to the event have been made by IGG. You can find the changes via the "read more" link.

IGG came up with an announcement concerning MMORPG Myth War Online and its growing community of players. According to them, a thread has been opened over at the official forums solely dedicated to hearing suggestions from fans. The thread is aptly called the "Good Idea Zone".

The company reasoned that its forum moderators have time and again stumbled upon good suggestions from players scattered around the forums. To preserve these ideas as well as to give them more attention, IGG decided to open the thread.

Aside from that, Myth War Online players are also encouraged to come up with interesting activity plans. A part of IGG's statement reads:

We will select some of the most feasible activity plans from the zone and execute those plans in the not distant future to help enrich our players' lives. The ideas or plans must be practical, hence before you post your activity suggestions, please consider all aspects of it carefully.

IGG is sending out word that they've got several new activities lined up for Myth War Online's Halloween celebration. First up is the MW World Ghosts Cleanup event, when creepy crawlies start making their way out of the Darkness of Space into your realms. It is your job, brave warriors, to heed the calls of the elder of Woodlingor to put a stop to this insect menace before it floods your world with plagues and disease.

The event is expected to take place this October 31 to November 6 - visit the NPC (265.344) in Desert City, and buy an Enchanted Whisker to get it started. Other than this new quest, players can also look forward to several GM interaction special events. Here's a quick description for each, and their scheduled times:

• Druggist's trick (October 31)
• Druggist (GM) will send players to the terror zone (mob-killing map). Players will get magic rewards by completing the mission given by the druggist. If players don’t want to complete the mission, tell the GM that you do not want to participate in this activity. The GM will send you back. Great mission and wonderful rewards are waiting for you!
• The Possession (November 1)
• GMs will become ghosts to give you magic presents, such as experience. You have to be online on the activity day to get presents. Don’t miss the chance.
• Trick or Treat (November 2)
• On the day of the activity, GMs will select players at random and give them two pieces of news. One is good and the other is bad. Which one do you want to know first? Usually, the good news will be told you first, which is the GM will give you a present. And then the bad news... The bad news is you have to give the GM a present before receiving the GM's present. If you refuse, you can also get the GM's present by challenging them successfully.

The guys over at the forums will also be happy to know that you're being invited to a Halloween Mask Design contest, scheduled for October 25 to November 20. Myth War Online's anniversary carnival went down with a blast, and we're sure everyone had their share of fun. Those who missed out need not worry though, because here are some screens to give you a glimpse of the week long festivities.

We see countless of explosions and we like it. As always, the guys over at IGG show their love to the faithful members by cutting no corners in delivering an event that looks a lot better than your junior-senior prom night.

One of the shots showcase the madness during Knowledge Competition, when hundreds of players struggled to answer questions and win prizes. Make a Wish was simply fantastic, as we can see on a couple of explosive screens full of all those eye pleasing colors.

There's always something to do in Myth War Online. After all, IGG always makes it a point to provide its user base with events, activities, and even contests.

True enough, the company just announced the MMO video game's Children's Day Event that should cover the month of June. It should be remembered that Blizzard recently held a similar event for World of Warcraft.

Anyway, here's a quick rundown of what you can expect for Myth War Online's latest event:

• In-game Events:
• Drowcrusher quest (June 1 to June 3): The accumulated times for completing Dragon slain quest of each character per day will be increased by 5 during this period
• Bounty Quest (June 1): We will wipe all Bounty Hunter records at 0:00 Server Time June 1, 2007 and gather the final results at 20:00 Server Time June 1, 2007. Players can do Bounty Hunter during the 20 hours from 0:00 to 20:00. (Reward: Snow Wolf)
• Fourfold Exp for Beating Mobs (0:00 Server Time June 1, 2007-23:59 Server Time June 3, 2007): Players will obtain fourfold Exp after defeating mobs. However, the quest reward will remain the same and also double-exp scroll and tri-exp scroll won't work during this period.
  
• In-game Quiz Contest (June 2 to June 3): GM will appear in game randomly and send a question via Local channel. Then players shall find the GM’s location and answer the question via Local channel. And the one who gives the correct answer in the shortest time via the Local channel near the GM will be the winner.
• Item Mall Events:
• Double Credit Points Given for Buying Item Mall Points (June 1 and the end time will be notified later): We have provided Google Checkout payment method before June 1. And we will give the player extra Integral Points(Fortune bombing points) who buys Item Mall Points via Google Checkout after June 1.
• New Stuff in Item Mall (June 1 to June 10): Our item mall will release 2 new items—Chocolate and Cryolite due to players' suggestion. The new stuff will be on sale for 10 days.

IGG has a lot of things being cooked up for Myth War Online players next month. First off, free presents. GMs will randomly appear at the stall areas of each server from May 1 until May 3 to hand out free stones with different attributes, mystical fruits and chocolate. Before the GMs set the stall, the system will announce when the GMs will appear, but players will have to go look for the specific locations themselves.

A Bounty Hunter and Survival Quest will also be taking place on May 1. The Bounty Hunter event will start on Server Time (ST) 0:00 and will run until ST 20:00. The reward for this event will be an Aurora Lion egg. The Survival Quest will also start on ST 0:00 and will run until ST 21:00, an hour longer than the Bounty Hunter event. The reward for the Survival Quest event will be a Green Capilla egg.

On May 2 and May 3, GMs will appear at the shop range at a designated time and will buy specific pets that meet the following requirements:

May 2
Target Pet: Lizard Miner
Growth Rate: 1.132 (Non-reborn), 1.232 ( Reborn)
Unit Price: Non-reborn pet — About 7 Million, Reborn pet — About 14 Million

May 3
Target Pet: Ogrewalker
Growth Rate: 1.164(Non-reborn), 1.264(Reborn)
Unit Price: Non-reborn pet — About 17 Million, Reborn pet — About 34 Million

Please note that if your pet's growth rate is higher than the required pet's growth rate, GMs will spend an additional 0.5 Million for each 0.01 point above the required growth rate.

Finally, players can get quadruple EXP for defeating monsters in battle starting ST 0:00 on May 4 until ST 23:59 on the same day. The free double EXP time and triple EXP scroll won't work during this period, however. Quest rewards for EXP will be the same as usual, so it's recommended that players don't draw double EXP time or use triple EXP scrolls during this period.
