Hero logo"Centuries ago, Qin Shi Huang, “Son of the Sky”, brought unity to China, ending the  Age of Chaos. He dreamed of immortality. In his quest for godhood, he became a tyrant, slaughtering all who opposed him.

"But it is the Mandate of Heaven that all things pass away. So it was with Qin Shi Huang. All traces of his glory and wealth vanished from the world when his palace, Ah-Bang Palace, burned down after his death.

"Twenty years past, the sun vanished as darkness spread throughout the heavens and the earth. In the midst of this Darkness, the Twelve Demons appeared, shaking the very foundations of the earth with renewed chaos and destruction..."

So begins the Legend of the Great Dragon, who, when all seemed lost, raised an Army of Warriors who finally defeated the Twelve Demons. For a time, the land enjoyed a time of peace - until one day, when the Great Dragon was found murdered in his own palace. His own wife seemed to be the assassin, although  some claimed she was found cradling his body in sorrow.

Some whispered that the Twelve Demons had returned...

Hero Online

Earlier, we reported about mGame's latest MMORPG, Hero Online. Now, to give you - MMORPG aficionados- more info about it, we're gonna go down to the nitty-gritty of Hero Online. This MMORPG gives its players the opportunity to experience Asian myth and folklore in a martial arts environment. So instead of knights, elves, and wizards, players will encounter characters and monsters based on Asian martial arts fiction. By combining the motif of Asian culture with many unique features, Hero Online stands out from the MMORPG collective.

In the beginning of the game, the player will have to choose one of four characters: The Ruthless Blade, Overseer of the Sky, The Piercing Eye, or the Elegant Mystic. Each character will have his/her own strengths, weaknesses, weapon proficiencies, and stats. Once a character hits level 10, a player may choose their class and truly begin their journey into the realms of Hero Online.

There are four basic classes per character to choose from: Warrior, Hunter, Physician, and Assassin. Each class has two upgrades that it can undergo allowing for more skills and better class-specific skills. For every progression, characters must complete certain quests that will reward them with skill books and more. For instance, an Assassin can become a Slayer, who can them become a Shinobi but only after completing their class quests. In terms of skills, players will have the option to pick and choose certain skills to either focus on whether it be aggressive skills, passive skills, or both.
