Earth Eternal opens Earth Eternal opens

Upcoming independent MMO video game Earth Eternal from Iron Realms Entertainment excites our curiosity. The game is set to be released Summer of 2007 but even this early, it's already attracting a lot of attention. The developer just unwrapped Chapter 11 and 12 of Earth Eternal's history.

On a related matter, Iron Realms just announced an open contest for those who want to have a hand in the game's development. Accordingly, the competition is called "Pick a Beast" and players will come up with a new beast race and the winner will eventually make it to the game, with the developer's discretion.

The design should be inspired by an animal (either a mammal, bird, reptile, or amphibian appropriate to Europe or North Africa) and not similar to the already existing 13 races. The fans should also name the race and explain why that race is needed in the game. The winner will eventually help the developers in how the beast race is worked into the history of the world.

As if that is not a prize enough, the winner will also have an exclusive access to that race for the first month of open beta and will have 10 more extra accounts to invite anyone he/she desires to play that race. The contest is open to all fans 13 years and above and it will end on April 9.

For more details about the contest, and ultimately about Earth Eternal, the Read link below should take you to the game's official page.

Earth Eternal - Image 1Following the release of Chapter 10 of Iron Realms Entertainment's Earth Eternal comes the next installment of the history, Chapters 11 and 12.

Chapter 11 will unravel the story behind the declaration of Solomon as Overking of the Beast Empire, as well as tell the creation of the Covenant among Beasts. Meanwhile, the next chapter will bring you through the chronicles of the Primal War, wherein Solomon succumbs to an invasion of creatures that seem like they are from the prehistoric times.

Earth Eternal is set in a fantasy-inspired version of Mythical Earth where anthropomorphic races abound. To mention but a couple of these interesting characters, you'll find here the Noctaris (owl-persons) and Bandicoons (raccoon-persons). Earth Eternal is also heralded as the first 3D MMORPG.
