Commanders, heads up: available for download below is the latest intelligence we have regarding EA Games' upcoming release Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. The trailer contains gameplay footage as seen from the side of the Global Defense Initiative (GDI), featuring their high-tech Orca gunships and Firehawk attack aircraft, and their signature Mammoth Tanks attacking a Nod position.
The footage you are about to download also features a bit of the backstory to Tiberium Wars. Tiberium is spreading across the entire world, making some areas of the world completely inhabitable. The few areas that remain safe for humanity, code-named "Blue Zones," are guarded by GDI forces. But most of humanity resides in the "Yellow Zones," where Tiberium has not yet taken hold but is slowly killing off or pushing out the population. As a GDI commander, you will begin your tour of duty commanding forces stationed in the American eastern seabord. Our last intel report mentioned that besides its PC debut, the game is set for an Xbox 360 release, with the same team responsible for The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2 working on it. Stay tuned to QJ as our intelligence officers continue to search for more intel on C&C3. Download: [Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Gameplay Trailer] |

The year is 2047, and Tiberium is spreading like a radioactive ice age. Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and Brotherhood of NOD again return as it sees them battling each other, with GDI fighting to contain the Tiberium and NOD hell bent on taking control and transforming humanity. "Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars combines fast-paced gameplay with new ways to tell a story in an RTS game," said Mike Verdu, Executive Producer at EA Los Angeles (EALA). "We're building a next generation Command & Conquer game that is true to the spirit of this classic franchise, but is updated with state-of-the-art visuals, added strategic depth, and gameplay innovations that will move the genre forward. I am very excited to be working on this amazing game." The game is currently in development, and is to drop sometime in 2007. No further details are yet available. |
