We've got some more juicy information for you eager VCO players to get you even more excited to sail the seas in IGG's latest free MMO game: details on Level 10 Ships and some new screenshots. In Voyage Century Online, ships fall under 3 main categories - Raiding Ship, Trading Ship, and Battle Ship - with ships under each category having their own unique features and functions in the game. Today we'll be featuring the best and highest level ships for every category: Battle Ship of Level 10, Raiding Ship of Level 10, and Trading Ship of Level 10.
Here's a complete list of features of each Level 10 ship: Ships are essential to the game, to say the least, as players will need them in their quest to explore the seas. Players can choose to become merchants, explorers, craftsmen, or warriors in this world set in the 17th century. There are pirates in the game, too, who will certainly loot and plunder gold from the other hardworking explorers. For more details on the other ships in Voyage Century Online, you can head on over to IGG's site and gather the info you'll need. Better be prepared to explore the vast seas, as you'll surely meet a lot of interesting folks who've signed up for the free MMO after its public release last April 8. But before doing that, check out the screenshots we have of the featured Level 10 ships. |

Those who can't play, teach. Er, that isn't always true. You can still play your favorite sport even if you don't have the body and... enough talent to succeed in it. And for those who still can't grasp the idea of MMO sports, this is your chance to see how interesting an MMO sport might be.
CyberSports and Monumental Games' Football SuperStars is finally in its beta testing stage. The developers are calling out for willing beta testers to sign up and experience this new football sim. Football SuperStars is a sports MMO that allows gamers to control the career of a single football player. They have to oversee the development and career of the footballer starting from his days in a football academy all the way to his success as a member of a premier club. So what's in it for the beta testers? Those who register for the beta will be the first ones to see the game and participate in its development. They will get a free, exclusive in-game item once they start playing. Participants will also be getting a regular newsletter where stories, feature breakdowns, and other details and views about the growth of Football SuperStars are included. If you're interested in playing (and not just teaching) the game, and you have the micromanagement skills to make your football player skyrocket to stardom, follow the Read link below and sign up. |

MMO game Vendetta Online from Guild Software, Inc. has definitely gone a long way since its release back in November 2004. Released initially with three playable nations - Itani, Serco Dominion, and Union of Independent Territories (UIT) - and many NPC factions, the game has gone through a lot of changes. Changes made to the game include interface tweaks, new guilds, new missions, software changes, and new ships and equipment. Expect, though, that Vendetta Online's developers will continue to add new content and features periodically to the expansive game.
We've chanced upon new exclusive and user-submitted screenshots of Vendetta Online, and boy, were we amazed. In this game, players have a big effect on the dynamics of this gaming universe, as mere involvement in factions, player- or developer-run events, and the game's economy will bear a permanent change in the storylines of the game - which perhaps is one of the major reasons people adore the game. If you're still doubtful about Vendetta Online, let's speak in terms of screenshots. Check a truckload of them here and tell us if being part of that immersive universe isn't cool. The rest of that truckload of screenshots at Full Article! |

Here's good news for all gamers who have grown to love Indy21's MMORPG, 9Dragons: The Open Beta testing for 9Dragons has just started. The pre-Open Beta announced a few months ago gathered a lot of players, so expect that this time around, there will be even more people to interact with in the game. In the Open Beta, gamers will be able to choose to join one of the game's six starter clans, to get them started. The choices include the Wu-Tang Clan, The League of Beggars, Shaolin, The Brotherhood of Thieves, The Heavenly Demon Clan, and the Sacred Flower Clan (which accepts only female applicants, by the way). The first three in the list are loyal to the Emperor of China, while the last three oppose him. There will also be three advanced clans to be added in the game as it progresses, and players will have a choice as to whose side these clans will eventually end up fighting with. If that bit of news isn't enough, we've got one more for you. Acclaim Games has also announced that 9Dragons will have a dedicated European server, meaning players from Europe will have an easier time accessing and playing the game. We're guessing that this may be their response to the slight problem that occurred last week, which left players from that side of the globe to momentarily lose access to the game. Another major thing to note about the game is that its storyline, which is based on China's Ming Dynasty, has been remastered and adapted by Steven-Elliot Altman, a Hollywood screenwriter, so that Western players (read: those not very familiar with China's history) will be able to relate to the game. So those who still aren't in on the free martial arts-themed MMORPG that is 9Dragons, you better sign up for a free account at 9dragonsgame.com. |

We know, we know. We might be a little late with introducing Sword of the Stars, but we promise we'll be faster with covering interesting and exciting MMO games from here on. And because we promised, we won't be late in bringing you this bit of news: You can now download the second patch for Sword of the Stars. This MMO game is a space strategy sim from Kerberos Productions and Lighthouse Interactive where gamers can enjoy and relive the classic 4X style in gaming - "eXplore", "eXpand", "eXploit", and "eXterminate" - all in their quest to take control of empires in space. Several new features and fixes that will upgrade and improve the gameplay are included in this patch. Content Additions:
Here's a very important piece of advice from Sword of the Stars' developers: Do not apply the boxed retail patch to other versions of the game, particularly direct download versions. Now that's out of the way, you can now get the second patch and explore the game's universe once more. Enjoy the game. |

... Well, at least that's what the organizers of the Leipzig Games Convention are expecting. Just in case you haven't heard of it, it's going to be held in Leipzig, Germany from August 24 to 27.Last year, around 134,000 visitors came to attend the convention, and organizers are expecting roughly the same number of attendees or more, as 367 exhibitors (that's a lot!) have already signed up for the videogames expo. The Games Convention will also have other activities aside from the main expo; these'll include a Gladiator Fight, sports on the karting trach and on the halfpipe, and a concert. A bit more about the concert for ya - it'll feature game music and will be held in Leipzig's Gewandhaus on the 23rd. It's bound tp be exciting because music from games such as Two Worlds, Castlevania, Revenge of the Shinobi, Anno 1707 and Final Fantasy will be included in the concert. Unfortunately, tickets for the concert have already sold out... We'll be bringing you the final list of the exhibitors at the Games Convention once the complete list has been released. Any of you folks going? |
