Okay, first and foremost, we'd like to reiterate what Blizzard means by the "end of the Arena round": only the qualifications for the Ladder round end on April 15. The Arena season itself isn't going to end anytime soon. That said, the tournament and the season will continue until their actual determined end dates.

But thanks to curious TseTse, a Level 70 Orc Warlock, we now have more information to divulge to you regarding the Arena. As far as Blizzard is concerned, there won't be any huge gaps between Arena seasons, so you can expect that when this first season does end, the next won't be far from sight. There has been no further word about the new Arena maps supposedly coming soon.

Also, new Arena gear is likely to be added at the end of the Arena season. But Blizzard isn't guaranteeing that at the end of this season, whenever it may come to end, Arena participants can expect to see new gear added to the Arena rewards. Also you can expect that if new gear is added, prices can always be adjusted.
