World of warcraft logo - Image 1While the premier Battlegroups for World of Warcraft's US chapter are clamoring for top spots, over at the other side of the planet, clarifications are being made for Europe's own batch of Battlegroups. As Blizzard's spokesman Aeus reiterated over at the WoW Europe boards, even the smaller Battlegroups can enter in the second qualifying round. To quote Aeus:

We've seen some uncertainties about how the top 38 teams from Europe will be determined, and wanted to clarify that each Battlegroup will have a number of teams qualifying based on the size of the Battlegroup. There will be a minimum of one team qualifying from each Battlegroup, so even the smaller Battlegroups will be represented in the second qualifying round. More details on the qualifying rules will be posted soon.

Expect  the upcoming battles to get bloodier for Europe's top teams - the Arena Tournament qualifications end this April 15. With that said, stay tuned in case further clarifications will be made for both the US and Europe realms.
