Following the numerous third-party World of Warcraft apps already available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Blizzard recently took the plunge with the release of an official World of Warcraft app that lets users access the Armory database from practically anywhere. The appropriately named Mobile Armory app allows users to check their current equipment, take a look at other players' setups, search for in-game items, and browse through the guild database. It also includes a talent calculator, achievement-point leaderboards, and an in-game calendar of events. The WoW Mobile Armory app can now be downloaded for free from the App Store. It's compatible with iPhone versions 2.2.1 onward, including full compatibility with OS 3.0. Related articles: |
