EA Mythic's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning MMORPG - Image 1EA Mythic's General Manager Mark Jacobs seems pretty confident that Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will be well accepted by the MMORPG community. He declared that he would be surprised if the game didn't hit a million beta testers once the testing is opened to their Asian partners.

Jacobs, in a post on the IGN Warhammer Forums, mentioned that "we [EA Mythic] should blow through 750K and we have a decent shot at 1M." However, even if this doesn't happen, he's already content with breaking the 500,000 mark in both North America and Europe which was his original goal when they started on the project.

It looks like Jacobs has set some pretty lofty goals for their game to reach before its planned launch this fall. There's nothing to do but wait and see if the game does attract one million beta testers once it is opened in Asia.
