As of July last year, Warhammer Online's Beta test had recruited well over 300,000 gamers. Goodness (or chaos) knows how large that number's increased by now. If you haven't gotten an invite, maybe these promotions can help you secure a spot.
In their February newsletter, WAR announced their BOOM! Beta Promotion. This April, BOOM! Studios will be releasing their new comic, Warhammer: Condemned by Fire. Each issue contains a scratch-off that gives you a 1-in-5 chance of getting in the beta.
If you're an artist, you also have a chance in getting in the beta by submitting fan art to WAR's newsletter. Artists whose work will be featured in future newsletters will also be getting an invite to the beta. Sharpen those pencils!
If you're more skilled with words, you can also send in WAR fan faction. If your story gets featured, you'll receive an invite. If you feel you're lucky enough, you can also just subscribe to the newsletter. Each month, twenty lucky subscribers will get a free invite.
