Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning MMORPG - Image 1EA Mythic was present at Games Day 2008 where they shared a number of tidbits regarding the highly anticipated MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

A post on the waaagh! blog compiled a list of facts about the game including the necessary system specs to play the game, population and level caps, as well as the development of the first expansion pack:
  • Mythic rep on system requirements: “Any PC within the past 3 years will more than likely run WAR without issues.”
  • Servers will have population caps on each side to keep them balanced between Order and Destruction. Most MMOs have server population caps; WAR will have realm caps (i.e. two separate caps per server).
  • Level 40 isn’t the actual end game — there are still 80 renown ranks, armor sets (”around 20″), Tome of Knowledge unlocks, claim keeps, unlock content in the capital cities, and so on to explore and achieve.
  • Mythic is already planning the first two years of release, the first two big content patches, and is currently in pre-production into the first expansion pack.
It looks like this game has the potential of living up to all the hype it has been generating. However, we're going to hold any judgments regarding the game until it comes out. In case you want to check out the full list of details revealed, don't hesitate to follow our source link below.
