South of the Chaos Wastes lies the barren landscapes of Troll Country. How important is this region for the events which will unfold for the upcoming MMORPG from EA Mythic, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning? It all starts with the tale of Anton Jaeger.

Even if it is the home of the hunt-heavy River Trolls, the thick-skinned Stone Trolls, and the loathsome Chaos Trolls, Troll Country has served as a refuge for the Empire nobleman Anton Jaeger and his large family. After being turned down by the Elector Count's second cousin Leticia, Jaeger and company journeyed to the far north until they stopped at Troll Country, where they founded the city of Felde.

Felde was a fortress which had been successful at resisting assaults from Trolls, Northmen and the Chaos. However, a mysterious plague engulfed Felde leading to its downfall.

No one knows how the plague started and it is now threatening the entire Empire. Wanting to get to the bottom of it all, the Empire has sent an expedition to Troll Country. But it will not be easy for the Empire with the presence of the Armies of Destruction.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning has been slated for a Fall 2008 release. As early as now, pre-orders of its Collector's Edition has been selling out in Germany. Stay tuned here at QJ.NET for the latest developments.
