There are many dangerous places that will challenge even the hardiest adventurer in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, but one of the most dangerous is the High Pass, the northernmost pass that crosses the World's Edge Mountains. In the High Pass, nature will be against you in the form of numbing cold, blizzards, and avalanches. The High Pass is also home to savage beasts, such as the Sabertusks, and ravenous mountain wolves. The High Pass is also populated by the Northmen, who live in the Chaos Wastes. They worship the gods of Chaos and many of them followed the champion of Tzeentch in the south. Those who stayed behind show no mercy to those they capture. The High Pass's land and climate were formed by a colony of High Elves who chose this place to call home. Here they hid, and lived for centuries. However, in the Age of Reckoning, their peace and secrecy has been broken. Armies from both the Empire and the servants of Chaos have come to the High Pass for their own ends, and are bound to create conflict in the region. Dark Elves have also come, and they have discovered the secret of the High Elves who have hidden for centuries. The High Pass is no place for the weak of heart. If you find yourself in this area in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, you must prepare yourself, or you will perish. |
