The Chronicles of Spellborn is now pegged for a Q2 2008 release and with its open beta almost at hand, it's a safe bet we're near the finish line, folks. Showing how polished the upcoming MMO game is turning out to be, developer Spellborn NV has released twelve new screenshots of Quarterstone, the jewel of the Spellborn world.
 
If apocalypse will happen by way of The Chronicles of Spellborn, it's not the end after all. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world; but thanks to the Unreal Engine technology, these screens are nowhere near horrible.

The Chronicles of Spellborn will be all about the storyline above anything else. But that doesn't mean there are no elements of PvE (player vs environment) and PvP (player vs player) here. So no worries there. Now, dear readers... Quarterstone.
