 For those of you eagerly anticipating the arrival of MMORPG Stargate Worlds, well, you can't relax just yet because you still have more than a year of waiting ahead of you. Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment Senior Marketing Manager Kevin Balentine made an official statement recently about the status of Stargate Worlds, saying,
We've got a playable version of the game inside of our building. I'm not prepared to release our beta schedule yet, but I can say that we're going to be releasing the game in the fourth quarter of next year. You can do the math and figure out when our beta program will be.
Instead of focusing on the fact that Stargate Worlds will not be released anytime soon, we can all just rejoice that a beta for the game is being prepared by the developers. Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, after all, has already highlighted before the importance of a community to them.
Stargate Worlds is bring co-developed with film and television media company MGM. It revolves around the universe of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.
