Star Trek Online - Image 1

Better practice your Klingon, Star Trek fans. It turns out that "first quarter of 2010" release window that Cryptic Games gave Star Trek Online was right on the money. The upcoming MMO has been confirmed for a February release in both North America and Europe.

Eurogamer reports that Cryptic and Atari have confirmed a February 2, 2010, release for Star Trek Online in North America, which also happens to be the exact date pegged by Amazon and GameStop. Europe will get the game a few days later, on February 5.

Yay, another game from cryptic. Hopefully this one doesn't have the same problems that Champions Online had (i.e. bad testing, buggy, and being generally unfinished). I hope they learned a lot from their last release.
