FFXI Online

Some people just never/refuse to learn. Barely a month after suspending 1,400 accounts, Square Enix had once again busted thousands of accounts which were confirmed to be engaged in using "unauthorized third-party software tools within FINAL FANTASY XI to enable abnormal in-game movement ".

We've exhaustively reported about this, but some just don't want to budge. This time, Square Enix has suspended 3,300 PlayOnline accounts, and they are planning on suspending more - in spite of the fact that suspending and terminating accounts could be synonymous to losing revenue. But heck, for all we know, letting 'em cheaters play is costing them more...Plus, it also ruins the gaming experience of those who stick on playing by the book.

These said third-party tools causes character information to be altered, erased, or personal information to be leaked to unwanted third parties. They are also asking subscribers to refrain from downloading such tools or to report those who they know are taking advantage of 'em. Now that you know that Square Enix is on a serious mission to level the playing field, learn from this; play along, and have some good, clean FFXI fun.
