Exar Kun. The very name brings up memories of a fallen Sith Lord who bound his spirit to the temples of Yavin 4. Perhaps it's only fitting that Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has named its Star Wars Galaxies Chapter 9 update as The Fury of Exar Kun.

As is the case with all Star Wars Galaxies patches, players will encounter a number of changes in the game. To help them along, SOE has provided a list patch notes. Below is a partial listing: 

• Temple of Exar Kun Heroic Encounter - Players may tackle this new heroic encounter by heading to the Aurilia Adventurer's Guildhall first.
  
• Storyteller - Storyteller events may now be held on Dathomir, Endor and Yavin 4.
  
• Combat - Select creatures are either resistant or immune to the Jedi Mind Trick.
  
• Power Ups - Existing power ups may now be overwritten with new ones.
  
• Collections - Repeatable Galactic Civilization War PVP collections have been added.
