RuneScape HD - Image 1We previously reported that Jagex Ltd's RuneScape would be getting a price increase for new subscribers. According to an announcement on the official webpage of the game, this increase will be taking place on August 18 instead of August 4.

Apparently, Jagex Ltd. delayed the date so that players who want to subscribe can take advantage of the lower membership cost currently being offered. Remember, once August 18 hits, all new subscribers will have to pay US$ 0.95 more while those who subscribe before that will be charged the current, un-increased rate.

If you've been planning to become a paying subscriber, you should definitely do so before the two weeks are up so that they will not be charged the higher subscription fees.
