RuneScape grabs a world record - Image 1

The folks at Jagex must be quite pleased with themselves. The latest news on the RuneScape front is that the game has picked up a new world record to add to its list of shining achievements.

According to Jagex, the game was awarded a Guinness World Record for being the world's most popular free MMORPG for the second year running. The distinction is well-earned, as the game's has over 135 million accounts created since its launch. The record is also well-timed, as Jagex is drumming up support for the RuneScape HD.

In any event, the folks at Jagex should be proud at how far their game has come. Keep checking QJ for more updates on this and all your other favorite games as they happen.
