Guess what, the beta is over and RuneScape HD is now available for both free players and subscribers to the game.

While the developers from Jagex Ltd. did allow free members to play the game with the updated graphics, only paying member can access the game in full screen mode.

Aside from the launch of RuneScape HD, players can also look forward to a number of other changes that were made to the game. Here's a list of what else to expect the next time you log into the game:
  • Bank Update: The bank now has tabs, a search function, and more.
  • Item Lending: Players can now lend their gear to their friends.
  • Reworked tutorial: The tutorial in the game has been reworked to help new players from the character creation step all the way to exploring RuneScape.
  • Lumbridge Moneymaking: Earning money has been made easier with this new scheme: do some tasks - get paid
  • Lumbridge and Draynor Achievement Diary: The game's first achievement diary has been released, travel to Explorer Jack to start your own.
