Eve Online II - Image 1 Eve Online II's latest expansion Revelations has launched and new features are all over the free upgrade from Icelandic developers CCP games. For starters, it's got a new features page with lots of new videos, and there's much more in store for exploration and amusement.

The devs say that if the initial Eve Online II was the "calm before the storm," this expansion has to be the downpour. Set in a sci-fi backdrop where man has set out to colonize the Milky Way, players have had the ability to commandeer various customizable ships in the earlier chapters. Now they have to prepare for Anti-Fleet Warfare tactics and Heat.

As the developers at CCP have revealed, the gameplay now puts more premium into siege-style play and small-squad tactics. Taking over star bases and outposts is vital to how your faction's economy will thrive, so you have to know exactly when and where to strike to make the risk-gain ratio a favorable one.

The plot thickens in the third installment as more is revealed along with gameplay enhancements. Players will have to grind harder than ever and cooperate if they want to end up on top in this chapter of Eve II.

 » WTH?

This is the first I have heard of EVE II. I play the origional EVE and are enjoying the new Revelations II expansion, but I'm worried now that all the dev resources are working on a Revelations expansion for EVE II.

Any word on where I can find some info on EVE II?
