What, another MMORPG?! We've got much too many games in our hands, can we handle one more? Well, that never stopped us from playing games before. R2Beat is a fun, cute game developed in Korea and is now open for Beta Testing in Japan. Its developer is currently looking for over 3,000 players to beta-test the game. That means a month of free gaming! The beta test will run from April 11 until May 8, 2006. R2Beat is an online inline skating game where you race on your inlines while keeping in rhythm with the music. It's a little like Ryzme, only with more speed and with gear.

The game is run on Japanese servers so expect to be competing against many Japanese players and expect things to be in Japanese - that never stopped us from playing FFVII in Japanese right? So, if you're the type who wouldn't mind trying something new and have been occasionally trolled through other Japanese MMORPGs, pick up the beat. When in trouble, just use Babelfish.
