One way you can do that is by tearing King Byrrnoth Grundadrakk apart. So if you want to find out more about this bald little man, head on over to the full article. Waaaagh! |

During SOE Fan Faire 2007, Star Wars Galaxies gave a sneak preview of the latest installment in the game.
In the preview they gave details on a new mode of play, a new way of
collecting items, an all new origin system, new quests, new rewards...
a lot of new stuff is what they got so if you're a resident of the
Galaxy that is Star Wars you are in for a great ride.
First up is the all new Heroic Encounter system where players who aren't challenged with the run of the mill enemies they come across can find something more of their suiting. Players in groups can go to a specific zone where they can "take on challenging foes in epic battles like no other." Here they previewed Axkva Min who a group of eight can only get through after fighting bosses one after another before facing with Min herself. The new collection system will be improving on badge collection. Instead of just collecting badges, players can collect "kills" of specific creatures and other various items. Once players have completed a collection they can redeem this for rewards. Chapter 7 will also feature an Origins system where players will get a chance to immerse themselves even further into their RPG role. Players will be writing their own histories, their own stories within the galaxies and this will lead to bonuses or even a new ability depending on their origin of choice. Star Wars Galaxies Chapter 7 is slated to be released next month. Here's some screenshots and concept art to keep you sated till then: Check out the full article after the jump for more screenshots and concept art! |

Because we can never get enough games based on ancient Roman lore, or MMORPGs with gods and half-naked warriors, here's Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising. One thing we can say for certain is that Stieg Hedlund really loves the gladiator class.
You've guessed it, in this video is yet another introduction to RPG fans who always pick the grunts that can deal massive damage. The gladiator is a master of most weapons, either one-handed or two-handed. Not only can he rip enemies apart with all kinds of blades, a gladiator with battle gloves is also deadly. No gold to buy anything? Gladiators can also wrestle with all those grueling moves. We kid you not, it seems pretty obvious who's got the biggest package in Gods and Heroes. Take it from Hedlund himself. Here's the video: |

If there's one thing we can say about Zu Online, it's that the goblins have never looked prettier. IGG has put up eight new pieces of concept art for their upcoming fantasy MMO, Zu Online, and we can definitely say that game art has never looked better. For instance, the two pictures above are of goblins, with the one on the left being a Fish Goblin, and the one on the right being an Elder Snow Goblin. They're certainly unlike the short, green folk we know from other MMO staples. After the jump, you'll see even more exquisite artwork from IGG, featuring (in order) the Guitong, Zin Star, Furnace Immortal, Dryad, Chifaro, and Master of Swordsman. Suffice it to say that if monsters can be as well-drawn as the ones below, they definitely wouldn't seem to monstrous. In any case, expect Zu Online to come out sometime this year. Enjoy the concept art! More concept art after the jump! |
