Pirates of the Burning Sea: Downtime announced for patch 1.4 update - Image 1First, the good news. Flying Lab Software has announced that they will be updating Pirates of the Burning Sea's public servers to patch 1.4 this Wednesday, May 28. Now, if you can't wait to get into the game to try the patch's new features, that's where the bad news comes in.

The devs are also sending word that PotBS' game servers will be unavailable as it upgrades to the new patch. Expect the game to be down from 1:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Pacific Time (PST). Those two hours might be worth the wait, though - PotBS' patch 1.4 will be implementing a skill landscape system that'll hopefully balance the game.

There's also the matter of the forced re-spec that kicks in the moment you log on, which should address any skill-related bugs you may have experienced in the past. That said, we advise the readers to keep an eye out in case Flying Lab makes any more related announcements.
