One of the reasons why many fear it is that it is a series of powerful fortresses built in small island. You could just imagine how difficult it is just to attack and successfully penetrate each and every fortification that stand in you way.
The ones who patrol it vigilantly are the Corsairs of the Main. They can instantly pursue those who threaten the safety of their surroundings. Also, the Corsair fleet’s most dangerous captain still patrols the local waters and under the command of Aga Irena Ballesteros.
