Screenshot of Flying Lab Software's Pirates of the Burning Sea - Image 1The developers from Flying Lab Software have taken a hint from all the feedback they've received from the buccaneers playing Pirates of the Burning Sea. They've released some new information on some of the changes to the latest version 1.1 patch for the game.

This newest build centers mostly on fixing a lot of the graphical and interface bugs spotted on the Open Sea area of PotBS. Other changes include refining some of the game mechanics that were outlined during the beta testing phase, such as the post-battle invisibility perk and the doubling of rare spawns on the Open Sea area.

In any case, here's a summary of all the changes included in version 1.1:

  • Mismatched NPCs in Ad Hoc battles
  • Rare spawn rate doubled in Open Sea
  • Ad Hoc invisibility fixed
  • Open Sea logout system refined
  • Open Sea graphics bugs fixed
For those of you who want to test out all the new updates outlined above, you can log in to the Testbed server to try the new changes out. The developers also promised to make more improvements to the visuals of the Open Sea in its upcoming v1.2 patch, which will be available soon.
