» My first impression!
Well I got in the beta of PSO U, and I must say it's awsome. Compaired to the crapy rehash of PSO BB, this game will bring old fans and new players alike to enjoy this new installment. The combat has been revamped, no more linear attack with melae weapons, you can control where it swings in mid attack. Even though there is no more strong and weak attacks the combat is still good and the weapon switch is better IMO. On this installment your weapons level up with you also (not as fast) and the mags are no longer a hassle like in PSO/PSOBB, you can feed it when you want (at home) and you can feed it much or not at all, (but why wouldn't you want to feed your mags??) the mags evolution is slower and I mean slower then the previous PSO games but it does has it's rewards. I just wish that the server is up more then 8hrs a day (starts at 1am and ends at 9am -6G.M.T). They're still bugs in this game but that doesn't discourage me at all! My love for PSO is coming back and I wish that I can share the experience with you all but I can't, so I'll enjoy this beta testing and savior every delicious moment for you all! :-p

The PC version of the online game Phantasy Star Online Universe has just went into beta stage in Japan. They are now accepting beta testers for the game. There is no IP restriction, but of course the player should understand Japanese in order to sign-up and play the game or at least knows a way to get around the language barrier. Beta sign up can be found
