Heroes rule in City of Heroes - Image 1

NCsoft Europe">Geoff Heath, Managing Director of NCsoft Europe, hinted in a recent interview that NCsoft may look into expanding the City of Heroes intellectual property (IP) with a new "City of" title not related to either City of Heroes or City of Villains. Mr. Heath, however, mentioned that work on the existing titles would continue.

Not too long ago, NCsoft acquired all of the City of Heroes IP from its partner, Cryptic, and announced the formation of a new studio in Mountain View, California - a move that allowed NCsoft to go full blast with the company's plans regarding the City of Heroes franchise. As Mr Heath put it, "We'll be bringing out more City of products, some more chapters in the current series, and we're obviously looking at how we can expand the City of franchise generally."

According to Mr. Heath, the new studio will comprise members of the team that had been working on City of Heroes. Furthermore, Brian Clayton, NCsoft Executive Producer, will take care of managing the new NCsoft studio.
