In City of Heroes and City of Villains, every superhero needs a sidekick as much as every supervillain needs a loyal minion. Wouldn't it be nice if you could find someone to fight alongside you, someone who will fling himself/herself in front of a hail of bullets for you, and someone who will pay your monthly fee in both games?

NCsoft has given players from both games the opportunity to score a "sidekick" and a month of free gaming through their new referral program. Each player can now e-mail 10-day trial codes for either game to their friends. If any of those friends ever decide to buy a standard account and pay for one month of subscription to City of Heroes or City of Villains, the person who referred them gets one month of free game time. Remember, the referred friend (*coughminioncough*) must use their purchased serial code in their free account to ensure that the referrer gets credited with the free month.

Inviting friends is simple, players can just go to their accounts management page and invite their buddies from there. So, start checking that address book for names who may just make your next few months of gaming cost-free.
