Those keeping tabs on NCsoft's next MMORPG title, Aion: Tower of Eternity, have an idea about the job classes that are going to compose the game's advanced character class system. For everyone else, here are some of the details.

Warriors, like one would expect, work best in close-quarter combat. After enough training, they can become Gladiators who specialize in dealing intense physical damage through brute force. Otherwise, they can turn into Templars and earn defensive chants to become more efficient fighters.

Players who always pick thieves in role-playing games can try Scouts to gain great agility and swift attacks. Scouts are the most flexible among basic classes when it comes to play style, and can grow into Rangers that use blades and traps, or Assassins for the stealthy strikes.

On the side of spellcasters, the Mage is the best option for devastating magic attacks. Aside from manipulating the elements of water, air, earth, and fire to deal damage, they also learn spells to divert and evade enemies. Soon, the Mage can choose the path of Spiritmasters to summon and control elemental spirits, or of Sorcerers to use elemental power for magical bolts and missiles.

Staple healer class, the Priest, is going to do what it does best in NCsoft's Aion: Tower of Eternity. Priests can keep the party up, or fight for themselves in melee combat then step back to use ranged magic at a distance. Job advancement means becoming a Cleric to specialize in supporting the team's defense, or a Chanter who can boost offensive capabilities while healing.
