One of the crucial elements many gamers look for in a massive MMORPG is being able to do a lot more than just grinding for hours and fetching quests. Lord of the Rings Online gives players plenty of stuff to do, such as creating music.

In the video below, audio director Geoff Scott walks us through LotRO's unique music system that puts a variety of instruments in the player's hand. Middle Earth is a world filled with wonderful music, and players can help contribute to that using the lute, harp clarinet, horn, flute, frame drum, and other instruments that may be added in the future.

Jamming can be hard for the musically challenged, but LotRO offers everyone a fair shot at creating good compositions by making the music system user-friendly. Find out how it works by watching the video below.
