NCSoft, the developer who brought us Guild Wars, Lineage 1 and 2, has just announced there would be a third Lineage installment - yep, the very same game that made us fantasize about spending a night alone with those Dark Elf babes. Lineage is a medieval MMORPG and that revolves around the character's quest to fulfill his/her destiny. If part 3 would be better graphically, then we might see more "details" of the sexy Elves/Dark Elves! Unfortunately though, other than the game being set to take flight on the first half of 2007, there is not much news about it yet. We'll keep you posted.2 Comments

People are very discouraged about the last changes and NCSoft support. It's known that the latest "fiasco" with his patch has left a lot of players unable to play or with a big ping rate (lag of 2 or more secs.).
Whole clans and allys of friends are leaving L2 and starting on other games.
NCSoft has lost his credibility due to corruption scandals and pathetic behavior of support team with users.
Blizzard is winning points against NCSoft and Webzen is a clear future menace.
I don't think L2 will survive.

As far as I know, there won't be an expansion. It's going to be a totally new game and I can't wait to get it!
One of the reasons why it hasn't that much success is definately the small amount of spells and weapons compared to games like WoW. Otherwise Lineage 2 owns WoW if you compare the players models and the colours. Hopefully Lineage 3 has bouncing nightelve boobs. :-P
