We're letting the gamers know that NCSoft has recently set up a Public test server for Lineage 2's next expansion: Hellbound. The PTS will be running several updates that are expected to arrive in the full game, which includes improvements to the character class skills and level caps, news transformations, and new pets.

With regards to the new caps, Hellbound will be pushing the main class' maximum level from 80 to 85. Subclass levels will remain capped at 80. Another update that's being put through its paces are the new main-class skills, determined by your subclass type. Here's an overview of the skill progression according to your level (Quoting the patch notes):

• Subclass Level 65 – One possible skill you can acquire: Common skill (increased attack and defense-related power)
• Subclass Level 70 – One possible skill you can acquire: Common skill (increased attack and defense-related power)
• Subclass Level 75 – Select one skill to acquire: Common 2nd stage skill (increased attack, defense power, physical critical chance, and magic casting speed) OR various special skills that are determined by your subclass
• Subclass Level 80 – One possible skill you can acquire: Transformation skill that is determined by your subclass
