One thing adults can do in Second Life - Image 1 With the presence of mature content in the virtual world known as Second Life, Linden Lab has seen it fit to introduce an Age Verification feature into their Second Life beta as a means of warning minors and other adults who may prefer to stay away from adult content.

Linden Lab's Age Verification system is simple: it basically allows estate and parcel owners in Second Life to flag their lands if these should contain adult content. Other residents then have to verify that they are adults in order to gain access to those mature-themed lands.

Linden Lab's has also reassured citizens that the new Age Verification feature is purely voluntary, and that the new system will not affect the virtual experience of Second Life residents who opt not to visit adult-flagged lands. If you'd like to know how you can age verify, simply follow the source link below to Linden Lab's Second Life blog.
